Here we have a cool Fender Crafted In Japan ST-62 Stratocaster with a Rebel Yellow finish! This one is in very good condition with the plastics changed to black.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, slab rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, dot inlays and narrow tall vintage fret wire. It has vintage style Deluxe tuners and a tremolo bridge with “Fender Fender” adjustable saddles. The electronics appear original with black bottom pickups and Made in Japan pots. The neck pocket is stamped RYL.
As mentioned, the original white plastic parts have been changed to black. The guitar is otherwise original and in great shape. There are some light pick marks on the guard and some light signs of use and handling. There is a ding on the back lower edge, but otherwise it looks quite clean.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 14oz. The neck measures .840 to .970 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic slab board C neck that isn’t too thin and one that fills out subtly as you move up the register. The guitar plays great with a slinky feel and a glassy top end. It’s easy to bend on and it responds nicely under the right hand.
Ships in a Fender padded gig bag and includes the tremolo arm. The original white plastics are not included.
