Product Description
Here we have a vintage Fender Precision Bass from 1970! This one is original condition with some cool wear around the edges.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, pearl dot inlays and tortoise guard. It has a single split P pickup, four saddle top mount bridge, and Fender tuners.
The body shows wear around edges and on the back near the F plate. The back of the neck has various nicks and light impressions over its surface and the face of the headstock shows light checking with some scratches and nicks at the edges. The original bridge cover is in-tact though the pickup cover and thumb rest are missing. The electronics, parts and finish all appear original.
This one weighs 8lbs 6oz. The neck measures .840 to .960 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped profile that is not too deep but has a nice shoulder. It fills out subtly higher up the register. The bass plays and sounds fantastic. It's super punchy and active, with plenty of rock tone. A great player overall with a cool look.
Ships in a later Fender molded case and includes a leather strap and a Gruhn Guitars information card.
