Product Description
2017 George Harrison Rosewood Telecast from the first limited run Fender offered
Chambered rosewood body in a satin finish, this example has beautifully straight grained rosewood with a nice dark and consistent hue. 1.65" nut width and 9.5" radius with medium jumbo frets on a 60's "C" neck profile. The neck has a bit more streaky rosewood, which gives the guitar a distinct look. Pure Vintage '64 Tele pickups. Period correct pearl dot inlays and "F" stamped tuners. Currently setup with a set of 11 gauge strings, which suites the chambered body quite nicely.
The guitar is in great shape overall, with a scratch near the input jack and another on the edge of the fretboard where it meets the body. A few very light dings on the neck that have no texture and cannot be felt whilst playing. There are spots where the finish has clouded slightly, as seems to be happening on some of these guitars. This is mainly on the edges around the neck pocket, the tip of the lower cutaway horn, on the edges near the upper strap button, and on the back around the string ferrules and the lower third of the body. Thankfully the top of the guitar is not effected. Photos of these areas are in the listing
