Description
Here we have a Fender Artist Series Jimmie Vaughan Tex-Mex Strat! This one features an Olympic White finish and is in excellent condition.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, maple fingerboard, vintage style tuners, vintage tremolo bridge, and a single ply white guard. It’s loaded with Tex-Mex pickups including a “Hot Bridge” variant near the trem. It has a modern 9.5” radius with medium jumbo frets and a soft V neck shape.
This one still has the original protective film and stickers on the guard. There are a few small topical marks around the edges and a small pinpoint body ding north of the neck pickup. It’s really in excellent shape otherwise though.
It weighs in right at 8lbs. The neck measures .850 to .910 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a vintage inspired soft V neck profile with a satin finish. It’s not too deep of a neck, and the V rounds subtly higher up the register like a ’57. The guitar has a glassy sound and plays evenly up and down the register.
Ships in the original padded gig bag and includes the tremolo arm, hang tags, mist & wipe sampler, and paperwork.
