Description
Here we have a 2014 Fender Artist Series Jeff Beck Stratocaster! This one sports a Surf Green finish and is in very good shape overall.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, LSR roller nut, 22 frets, 2-point tremolo bridge, stainless steel saddles, and locking tuners. It has a 25.5” scale length, 9.5” radius, and a 1.6875” nut width. It’s loaded with a set of Hot Noiseless Single Coil pickups.
The body finish has a light crack in it on the top edge of the waist. There is a faint ding on the back of the neck at the 8th fret as well. The body finish looks like it has yellowed just a hint over time, which is noticeable when you look under the guard. The pickguard was full removed at some point, swapped for a pre-loaded guard with alternate pickups. The original guard assembly is back on the instrument. There are other light player marks and signs of use.
The guitar weighs 8lbs 4oz. The neck measures .810 to .900 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a modern C neck shape with a satin finish, which coupled with the roller nut and bridge give us 1990s American Standard vibes, albeit in an upgraded Artist Series model. It’s a classic build and one of the longest running signature models in history until its recent discontinuation.
Ships in the original tweed hardshell case and includes the owners manual and tremolo arm.
