Description
Here we have a very nice Fender Japan JB-62L Left Handed Jazz Bass! This one is labeled "Made In Japan" with a T serial number dating it to 1994-1995.
The bass is in good condition. It has a handful of light dings on the top of the body and a couple notable dings on the back. The lower edge of the body near the input jack has some scratches and faint finish lines where it appears the body took a light hit. There are a couple nicks on the headstock edge, but the neck is quite clean. The frets show a hint of wear but nothing that inhibits playability. There are quite a few pick marks on the guard as well. Otherwise the bass is clean and the finish looks good.
This features a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood board. It has dual J pickups and a tortoise guard. It also has Dunlop strap buttons. It weighs 9lbs 10oz. The neck measures .810 to .935 at the 1st and 12th. It has a traditional C shaped neck with a bit fuller shoulder higher up the register. It's punchy and articulate with plenty of sustain!
