Product Description
Here we have a cool vintage 1966 Fender Jaguar! This one is in original condition with some cool player wear.
Specs include an alder body, birdseye maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, bound neck, block inlays and Fender “F” tuners. It has a floating tremolo tailpiece, adjustable saddle bridge and a string mute. The scale length is 24” and the guitar is loaded with a set of single coil pickups. The neck is stamped Oct 66 and the pots date to the 18th week of ’66.
This is a single family instrument that has been lovingly played for many years. There is a nice amount of forearm wear on the top of the guitar, as well as wear through the finish on the back of the neck. The string mute is present but mostly dried out. The guitar shows fine checking on the headstock and body, and there is a nice patina across the hardware. The finish and components all appear to be original.
This one weighs 8lbs 6oz. The neck measures .810 to .930 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a medium C neck profile that feels fantastic. The guitar plays like it should with a short scale slinky feel. It’s resonant and easy to navigate, and there is a touch of natural reverb off of the body acoustically. If you’re looking for a complete guitar that has a vibe, this could be it.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the tremolo arm and bridge cover.
