Here is a 2008 Fender Eric Johnson Stratocaster! This one sports a white blonde finish and is loaded with a set of Fender Custom Shop pickups.
Specs include an alder body, quarter sawn maple neck, 12" radius, and bone nut. The guitar has medium jumbo frets, a single ply parchment guard and a lacquer finish. The tuners are staggered vintage style and the bridge is an American Vintage tremolo. The pickups have been changed to a set of Custom Shop single coils with an RWRP middle. The poles are staggered and unbeveled. The outputs are 6.25k neck, 6.37k middle and 6.4k bridge.
The guitar has been played but cleans up nicely. There are a few minor paint chips on the top and back of the body, along with a small dent on the back edge. There are a handful of faint dings and surface scratches over the body as well as a light patina noticeable when the light catches. The neck looks pretty clean. The frets show a hint of player wear down low.
The guitar weighs in at 7lbs 5oz. The neck measures .860 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has a soft V profile which does not really have too hard of an apex down low. It rounds out up the register and is quite comfortable to play. The guitar is resonant with loads of sustain. It's well-balanced and really plays easily up and down the neck. This is one of our favorite Fender models overall with a nice mix of vintage and player-friendly specs.
Ships in the original case which shows some light wear and tear to the tolex. It includes the tremolo arm, hang tags, control schematic, and other paperwork.
