Here we have a 2021 Limited Edition Fender Custom Shop ’60 Dual Mag II Stratocaster! This one features a faded and aged 3-tone sunburst finish with a super heavy relic package.
Specs include an alder body, AA flame maple neck, slab rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 6105 fret wire and a 9.5” radius. It is loaded with a set of Handwound Dual Mag II pickups with a reverse wound reverse polarity middle pickup. It has a 5-way switch and a 1/2 blender.
The guitar is in excellent condition. It’s been lightly played shows some light marks on the guard. The aging looks to be factory work though, and it doesn’t appear the guitar has been played hard at all.
It weighs in at 7lbs 14oz. The neck measures .790 to .930 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic early slab board C neck profile. The aging on this one is fantastic, and the back of the neck feels excellent. The guitar is very resonant and easy to bend on. The pickups, as advertised, are very even sounding with a nice blend of crips highs and a bold low end.
Ships in the original hardshell case which is a touch discolored on the exterior. It includes the backplate, tremolo arm, bridge cover, picks, tremolo springs, COA, floor traveler, hang tag, sticker and other paperwork.
