Here we have a super cool Fender Custom Shop ’56 Fat Roasted Stratocaster! This one sports an aged black finish and a roasted birdseye neck.

Other specs include a roasted alder body, 9.5” radius, 6100 fret wire, black dot inlays, deluxe tuners and a tremolo bridge. It’s loaded with a set of hand wound Fat 60s single coil pickups with a reverse wound reverse polarity middle pickup.

This guitar has seen some light modification since being sold new. The pickguard and backplate are not original to this guitar. It’s been rewired for the 1/2 blender which adds the neck pickup in the 1st and 2nd positions. The volume pot, blend pot and switch are not original, nor is the black knob. The guitar has been played a bit, but not abused. Being a relic, the aging mostly appears to be factory done.

This one weighs in at 7lbs 13oz. The neck measures .910 to .990 at the 1st and 12th. It has the classic 10/56 soft V profile that gives off vintage vibes. The finish on the back of the neck is factory worn and has a great feel. We love the AA birdseye neck which looks great roasted. The guitar is lively and resonant with a biting tone off of the body.

Ships in a brown hardshell case and includes the COA, floor traveler, hang tag, strap and tremolo arm. The original parts are not included.
