Here we have an iconic Jaco Jazz Bass Relic from our friends at the Fender Custom Shop! This fretless signature model is from 2023 and aged to perfection.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The fret markers are inlaid flush and the entire board is lacquered. It has a flat 12" radius and the neck profile is carved to match Jaco's. They also wind the pickups to mimic his and of course age the bass to match the wear patterns of his original.
This one weighs 8lbs 13oz. The neck measures .820 to .870 at the 1st and 12th. It has the traditional narrow 1.5" Jazz Bass nut width with a slim slab board C carve. It plays wonderfully up and down the neck with the finish worn off the back. Simply a great sounding bass and quite fun to play.
The bass is in excellent condition and appears to have been case-kept since new. It includes the original case, COA, traveler, strap, picks, design guide, and other paperwork.
