Here we have a beautiful Custom Deluxe Tele Custom Masterbuilt by Yuriy Shishkov! This one features a 5A Quilt Top and a AAA Birdseye neck.
Other specs include a double bound ash body, AAA rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, 6105 fret wire and abalone dot inlays. This one has a 1.6875" nut width with a 9.5" radius. It has a modern six saddle adjustable bridge with chromed brass saddles, as well as modern Fender branded Schaller tuners. The guitar comes from the factory routed for a humbucker, and the pickup configuration includes a hand wound Twisted Tele bridge pickup and Duncan SH-1 '59 neck pickup.
The guitar is stunning and in excellent condition overall. The Nocaster Blonde finish shows off the quilt maple top nicely. The neck has a dark tint lacquer which evenly complements the body hue and the birdseye figuring. The guitar has been very well cared for without much in the way of player wear to note. We would call this a case queen.
The guitar weighs in at 7lbs 8oz. The neck measures .850 to .990 at the 1st and 12th. It has a '57 soft V profile without much shoulder. It has the hint of an apex down low and has more of a full oval C shape towards the body. It plays great with excellent resonance and clarity. It has a nice band of frequencies acoustically with warm mids and glassy highs. Overall a wonderfully built and great looking instrument from one of the Custom Shop's best Masterbuilders.
