Description
Here we have a 2016 Fender Custom Shop '67 Smuggler's Tele! This Limited Edition build is done in aged black and features a Closet Classic aging package.
Other specs include an ash body with smugglers route, a maple neck, and a round lam maple fingerboard. It has a 9.5" radius with 6105 fret wire, a multi-ply white guard, and Schaller F tuners. The pickups are a set of hand wound '67 Telecaster single coils.
The guitar is in excellent condition. It is aged lightly from the factory and shows checking and lightly aged parts. There are some other signs of playing and handling like pick marks on the guard and a ding on the neck pickup cover, but mostly the wear looks to be factory aging.
This one weighs 6lbs 9oz. The neck measures .850 to .920 at the 1st and 12th. It is a familiar 60s oval C shape that feels great. The guitar is lightweight and super resonant with the body route. It's loud acoustically with a warm, deep punch and crisp top end. Overall a cool build and the perfect color!
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, Floor Traveler, hang tag, bridge cover, picks, design guide and other paperwork.
