Here we have an awesome 2023 Fender Custom Shop ’64 Jazz Bass! This Relic features a Daphne Blue finish and is in excellent condition overall.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck and round lam rosewood board. It has a 7.25” radius, 1.5” nut width and 34” scale length. It’s loaded with a set of Custom Shop Vintage J-Bass pickups.
This one has had the bridge cover, pickup cover and finger rest removed, but they are included. The bass has been lightly played, but it appears the wear is all factory aging.
It weighs in right at 9lbs. The neck measures .790 to .990 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic ‘60s U neck feel, correct to vintage for a ’64. It plays wonderfully with a classic sound, just what you’d expect from a recent Custom Shop build. The pickups are warm and round with medium output and a vintage tone.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the bridge cover, pickup cover, thumb rest, COA, floor traveler, hang tag, leather strap, design guide and other paperwork.
