Solid body Used Electric Guitar
with Alder Body, Rift Sawn Maple Neck, 9.5" Radius, 6105 Fret Wire, Ron Ellis 64S Pickups - Faded Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst Finish
Product Description
Here we have a very nice '59 Stratocaster Heavy Relic from the Fender Custom Shop! This guitar features a Faded Chocolate 3-Tone Sunburst finish and comes loaded with a set of Ron Ellis 64S pickups.
Spec include an alder body, rift sawn maple neck, 9.5" radius, and 6105 narrow tall fret wire. The neck shape is their 63 "C" style that measures .820 to .970 at the 1st and 12th. The guitar includes the original hand wound Fat 50s pickups in the case.
This one weighs in right at 7lbs. The neck is a familiar C shape that fattens up the register without much roll to the fingerboard edges. The guitar plays wonderfully and has a load of sustain. It's clear and glassy with that classic late 50s Alder/maple sound off the body. The pickups have a classic 60s sound with nice note separation and articulation like advertised.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, floor traveler, hang tag, original hand wound Fat 50s pickups, tremolo arm, bridge cover, design guide, and other paperwork.
