Here we have a unique Fender Custom Shop '51 Telecaster in faded pewter. This heavy relic guitar features a humbucker in the neck position and is in excellent condition.
Essentially a Nocaster with a Telecaster logo, this '51 reissue guitar features a large Nocaster neck profile, 9.5" radius, and 6105 fret wire. It has a hand wound "Crushed Blackguard Tele" bridge pickup and a Duncan SH-55 Seth Lover in the neck. The electronics are wired in modern with a master volume, master tone, and 3-way toggle with both pickups active in the middle position.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz. The neck measures .950 to .995 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped profile with a beefy shoulder and almost a flat apex. The guitar is resonant and loud acoustically. It has a nice attack and top end clarity with a subtle warm punch from the ash body.
