Description
Here is a neat Custom Shop '50s Thinline Tele Relic in Pink Paisley! This was a 2017 Limited Edition model that ended up being produced in early 2018.
The guitar is basically a Thinline Nocaster featuring similar specs like an ash body, one piece maple neck, and brass saddles. It has a Broadcaster bridge pickup and Texas Special neck pickup. Like most limited runs, it has some modern features like a 9.5" radius and 6105 fret wire. The wiring is modern too.
The guitar is in excellent shape, and doesn't appear to have much play wear beyond the factory relic. It weighs 6lbs 2oz. The neck measures .880 to .990. It feels much like a Nocaster neck, though the traveler calls for a soft V which this faintly has.
The guitar is very loud and resonant acoustically as you'd expect with the sound chamber. It's lightweight and well balanced. It plays and bends easily with the flatter radius and big frets. It has a bit more overtones and a touch less weight behind the note than a solid version might have, but that's the fun of the thinline!
Ships in the original center pocket tweed case. Includes the COA, traveler, hang tag, strap, bridge cover, picks, 2017 Design Guide, and other paperwork.
