Here we have an awesome 2023 Fender Custom Shop '64 Jazz Bass Relic! This one is in excellent condition, virtually unplayed.
Features include an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has standard Custom Shop J-Bass Vintage pickups. The neck is quartersawn with medium tint, the board is AAA round lam, and the body spread was sorted for lightweight.
This one weighs in at 9lbs 5oz with the covers on. The neck measures .790 to .990 at the 1st and 12th. It has that classic slab board era neck feel which is a slimmer C shape, not too thick, but with a touch of shoulder. The bass is punchy and articulate with good resonance. A perfect example of a reissue bass in our opinion!
This one is in unplayed condition and appears to have been case-kept since purchased new. Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, hang tag, traveler, strap, picks, design guide, and other paperwork.
