Description
Here we have a cool 2017 Collection Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster Relic! This one sports an Aged Fiesta Red Finish and is in excellent condition.
Specs include an alder body, quartersawn maple neck, AAA dark rosewood fretboard, and aged clay dot inlays. It has a set of hand wound 60/63 Strat pickups with a reverse wound reverse polarity middle pickup. The radius is 9.5" and it is fretted with 6100 jumbo wire.
The guitar is in excellent shape. The aging and wear all appear to be from the factory. There are light signs of use and handling if inspected closely, but this one appears to have spent most of its time in the case.
It weighs in at 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .790 to .970 at the 1st and 12th. It has a very familiar 60s oval C shape, just what you'd expect from a slab board guitar. It has an open and resonant sound off of the body with a touch of natural reverb around individual notes. It plays easily in all positions. The pickups have nice sparkle and are dynamic while still feeling balanced. The RWRP middle is nice for noise-free use in the 2 and 4 positions. Overall a fine example of a slab board in an iconic color.
Includes the original hardshell case, COA, hang tag, floor traveler, tremolo arm, bridge cover, strap, picks and other paperwork.
