Here we have a very nice Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratoaster in Surf Green! This NOS guitar features a '51 U neck and is in excellent condition overall.
It has an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood board. The pickups are a set of '60 Strat single coils with an RWRP middle pickup and 5-way switch. The guitar has a 9.5" radius, medium jumbo fretwire, and 21 frets.
It weighs 7lbs 14oz. The neck measures 1.000" at both the 1st and 12th frets. It's a full, rounded early '51 profile that does not really vary as you work up the register. This is clearly built for someone who loves large, rounded necks. It has a classic slab board sound, and feels really good. The strings growl when you dig in and the '60s pickups are a touch hotter with a nice bite.
The guitar is in great shape. It has some light surface marks from handling and a few pick marks. The hardware is nice and clean. There is a touch of discoloration on the guard near the selector switch. The frets look great.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, hang tag, floor traveler, tremolo arm, bridge cover, picks, strap, and paperwork.
