Description
Here we have a 2022 Fender Custom Shop Heavy Relic Stratocaster with a Floyd Rose tremolo. This guitar has an HSH configuration and is wonderfully aged.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has a 12" radius, 1.6875" nut width, and standard 25.5" scale length. The guitar came stock from the factory with a black top mount Floyd Rose locking tremolo, chrome nut, black retainer bar, and black schaller strap buttons. The bridge pickup is an aftermarket black DiMarzio and there is a tremolo stop lock installed in the rear cavity. Beyond that the guitar appears factory original and is in great shape.
This one weighs 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .760 to .970 at the 1st and 12th. It's a 1 11/16" nut width guitar, so while the neck thickness and shape is reminiscent of a slab board '60 Strat, the neck does have a touch wider feel down low. The guitar has quite a bit of resonance with some acoustic depth off of the body due to the larger pickup routes under the guard. It plays nicely up and down the neck and has an excellent sound.
Ships in the original hardshell case. It includes the COA, hang tag, floor traveler, tremolo arm and leather strap.
