Description
Here we have a very nice Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Heavy Relic! This one sports a Candy Apple Red finish and is in excellent condition.
Specs include an alder body, quartersawn maple neck and slab rosewood board. It has a 9.5" radius with 6105 fret wire. The pickups are a set of handwound '60s Strat single coils with a reverse wound reverse polarity (RWRP) middle pickup. It has modern wiring with a 5-way switch.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz. The neck measures .790 to .930 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a classic slab board feel, and with the finish worn off of the back it plays quite fast. The guitar is resonant and lively with a woody attack and crisp top end. We love the aging on this one, and the handwound pickups have a nice hot attack. It's a great example in great condition!
Includes the original hardshell case, COA, traveler, hang tag, tremolo arm, bridge cover, design guide, leather strap, picks and other paperwork.
