Here is an excellent Fender Custom Shop 1960 Roasted Stratocaster Heavy Relic! This Aged Black finish guitar is a 2018 Mid Year Collection Limited Edition from Summer NAMM.
Specs include a roasted alder body, roasted quarter sawn maple neck, AAA rosewood fretboard, and vintage clay dot inlays. It has a 12" radius with Jescar 57110 wire. The pickups are a set of hand wound Poblano single coils with an RWRP middle.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 6oz. The neck measures .790 to .930 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic 60s slab board shape to it. The floor traveler calls for rolled fingerboard edges which is a very nice touch and makes the entire neck that much more form fitting to the hand. We also like the narrow tall fret wire and the aged inlays. The guitar really sounds great being fully roasted. It's crisp, clear and vibrant with a ton of resonanceĀ and sustain. The Poblanos are nice and hot giving this guitar a wonderful edgey sound. Overall a cool build, a great playing guitar, and an awesome color.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, floor traveler, mid-year display spec sheet, hang tag, tremolo arm, bridge cover, strap, design guide, picks and other paperwork.
