Description
Here we have an amazing '59 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Roasted Limited Edition! This 2018 build features an Aged Olympic White finish and is in excellent condition.
Spec include an alder body, roasted quartersawn maple neck, AAA dark rosewood board, and aged clay dot inlays. It has a set of hand wound Texas Special pickups with a 5-way switch loaded to an anodized guard. The radius is 9.5" and it has 6100 jumbo fret wire.
The guitar looks to be case-kept. The aging and wear all appears to be done at the factory. This guitar shows some faint signs of use but ultimately does not appear to have been played much at all.
It weighs in right at 8lbs. The neck measures .790 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has a '59 C profile that feels like a familiar slab board carve, but with a touch more depth and shoulder up near the body than a 1960 reissue. The guitar sounds fantastic and plays easily in every way. It's woody and crisp with nice articulation. There is a ton of resonance and sustain with a touch of natural reverb emanating from the body. It feels excellent under the picking hand and plays quite slinky. One of the nicer sounding examples we've had in some time.
Includes the original hardshell case, COA, floor traveler, hang tag, tremolo arm, bridge cover, strap, picks, and other paperwork.
