Here we have an awesome '56 Stratocaster Relic from the Fender Custom Shop! This Limited Edition model is from 2023 and it is in excellent condition.
Specs include an ash body, quartersawn maple neck, 9.5" radius and 6105 fret wire. It has a set of handwound '56 Strat single coil pickups with an RWRP middle pickup. It has modern wiring and a tasteful light relic job done to the faded ocean turquoise finish.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 15oz. The neck measures .880 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic 10/56 V profile that has the subtle V carve down low, but rounds subtly higher up the register. The guitar is resonant and lively with a glassy top end. It really feels nice under the picking hand and plays effortlessly overall. The handwound pickups are bold and round, and we really appreciate the reverse wound reverse polarity middle pickup.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the COA, traveler, hang tag, tremolo arm, bridge cover, leather strap, design guide and paperwork.
