Description
Here is a Fender Limited Edition Competition Mustang electric guitar from 2002! This model was built in Japan and is in good condition.
Specs include a basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. It has a 24" short scale length with vintage style 7.25" radius, vintage fret wire, and a 1.625" nut width. It has the classic look with vintage style tuners, the floating bridge, vibrato tailpiece and white pearl guard. It's loaded with dual single coil Mustang pickups with on/off and phase switches. It also sports the classic competition stripe paint job.
This guitar is in good shape though it has one notable dent on the side. There are a handful of light dings on the top and back, along with faint surface scratches. The hardware and pickup covers show light wear and it has Schaller strap buttons installed.
This one weighs 7lbs 5oz. The neck measures .800 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. The neck has a medium C shape feel and plays easily. The guitar is slinky with a nice string response. It has warmth and color off of the body with good top end clarity. Overall a fun guitar to play, and definitely reminiscent of the vintage model that inspired it.
Ships in a Fender G&G hardshell case. Includes the vibrato arm.
