Here we have a beautiful Left-Handed '57 Stratocaster from Fender! This American Vintage Series guitar is from 2002 and it's in excellent condition.
These Fender USA reissues feature an alder body, maple neck, vintage tremolo, American Vintage single coil pickups, 5-way switch, and a soft V neck profile. These '57 Strat specs are about as iconic as it gets!
This one is in great shape and appears to have been case-kept most of its life. There is a scuff on the lower edge along with a small paint chip. There are a couple faint dings as well, but otherwise the body finish looks virtually brand new. There are a couple marks on the neck too, but mostly it's minty clean. There are actually a couple of faint fret marks down low, surprising considering how clean the instrument is otherwise, but obviously someone did play this a bit. The hardware is also very clean and in excellent shape.
The guitar weighs 8lbs. The neck has that '57 soft V feel about it. It measures .850 to .920 at the 1st and 12th. Overall a fine example that at over 20 years old is fast approaching vintage status itself!
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the tremolo arm, strap, hang tag, and other paperwork.
