Description
Here we have a 1992 Fender American Vintage ’52 Tele! This one is in good shape overall.
Specs include an ash body, maple neck, black dot inlays, vintage style Deluxe tuners, a single ply black guard, and a vintage style bridge with brass saddles. It has dual single coil pickups with a volume & tone control, as well as a 3-way selector switch with modern wiring. It has a 1.65” nut width, 7.25” radius, and 25.5” scale length.
This guitar had the bridge swapped to a modern 6-saddle bridge and the original was lost to time, which means the serial number is gone too. It now has a new American Vintage bridge on it with brass saddles. The guard is well-worn and has a cool look. The finish shows plenty of scratches, small dings, and paint chips across its surface. The frets show a little wear and there are a few dings on the back of the neck that are noticeable while playing. The original hardware has a light patina. The guitar looks original beyond the bridge and has the date written on the end of the neck.
This one weighs 9lbs 5oz. The neck measures .800 to .890 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a medium C neck profile that is fairly modern and comfortable, not nearly as big as a vintage guitar or a Custom Shop U neck. Though this one is on the heavier side, it has really nice sound movement through the body is well-balanced. The star of this guitar are the pickups though which we think sound fantastic. It’s an excellent player.
Ships in a padded gig bag.
