Description
Here we have a cool 2013 American Deluxe Dimension Bass from Fender! This one sports a cayenne burst finish and is in very good condition.
It features an ash body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has a Fender HiMass bridge and Fender lightweight tuners with tapered shafts. The pickups are dual Dimension humbuckers. The controls include a master volume and 3-band active EQ with treble, bass, and mid boost/cut.
The bass has a few light dings on the top and back body edge. There are a few other pinpoint dings and faint surface marks visible mainly when the light catches. There is a notable scratch on the pickguard, as well as other light wear visible. There are faint surface scratches on the body and light oxidation on some of the metal parts. The back of the neck shows the hint of a patina. The frets are in good shape. A couple solder joints inside appear to be touched up, but the electronics look original.
This one weighs 9lbs 6oz. The neck measures .820 to .935 at the 1st and 12th. It has an asymmetrical C shaped profile with a 1.625" nut width. It plays quite well up and down the neck. It is punchy and very resonant with nice sustain. It has a mellow darker mid-range tone about it with good clarity.
