Description
Here we have a nice 70th Anniversary Broadcaster from Fender! This USA build is in excellent condition with all the case candy.
Features include an ash body, maple neck, blonde lacquer finish, and of course an iconic black single ply pickguard. It has a set of Fender Custom Shop designed Blackguard single coil pickups, plus other vintage correct specs like a 7.25" radius, vintage tall fret wire, and an ashtray bridge with three brass saddles. And of course it features the early Broadcaster name on the headstock logo.
The guitar is in great shape. There is a pinpoint ding on the top near the bridge, and a tiny paint chip on the back edge of the top. The guard shows some light wear and some of the hardware shows light oxidation. Mostly though this one looks factory fresh and appears to have been case kept.
It weighs in at 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .900 to 1.000 at the 1st and 12th. This guitar has all the build quality of a nice American Vintage piece with some Custom Shop influence. We love the large rounded neck profile mixed with the rolled fingerboard edges. The guitar is loud and lively acoustically. It has that warm ash body punchiness with good top end twang and clarity. Really a great sounding guitar.
Ships in the original hardshell case which shows some light wear, mainly on the bottom. It includes the bridge cover, COA, strap, cable, accessories pouch, hang tags, and other paperwork.
