Description
The Fairfield Circuitry ~900 (About Nine Hundred) is a four-knob fuzz pedal built around two cascading JFET gain stages. It traces its lineage back to Fairfield's discontinued Four Eyes Fuzz, and carries forward that circuit's wide gain range and harmonic density — while adding more control over how the fuzz behaves at each stage.
The four controls are highly interactive, meaning changes to one will affect how the others respond. That interactivity is part of what makes the ~900 worth spending time with — there's a lot of tonal ground to cover between the extremes.
