Here we have a 2020 F Bass VF4-M in burgundy! This one was custom ordered with an Aguilar AG 4M/J-HC Music Man J Bass pickup set and Aguilar OBP-1 preamp.
Specs include an alder body, 3-piece quartersawn maple neck, and hardrock maple board. It has a 1 1/2" nut width, 34" scale length, 9" to 14" radius and 19mm string spacing. It has a burgundy top with matching headstock, natural back, satin finish and gold pearloid guard.
This one is in very good shape. The forearm contour and back of the neck are a touch glossier than factory satin from playing. There are light scratches on the guard and the hardware shows light signs of use. There is a small ding near the control cavity, as well as a few nicks and small, faint dings on the back body edge.
This one weighs 9lbs 2oz. The neck measures .830 to .960 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D neck profile, not too deep, with a nice shoulder and almost flat apex. The bass is woody and punchy acoustically with excellent resonance. We love the Music Man / J Bass setup too!
