Here we have an awesome ESP “TRICKSY” 5-string bass, a signature model for ZERO from D’espairsRay. This one is in excellent condition.
Features include a quilted maple top, swamp ash body, maple neck, maple fingerboard, clear pickguard and gold hardware. It has block inlays with a bound neck, a Gotoh bridge and ESP Custom Lab CL-P-J5-1 pickups. The scale length is 35” and the nut width is 1 13/16”.
This one is in excellent condition overall. It has some light topical scratches, some pick marks and other light signs of use. There is some light patina on the gold parts too. There are no dents or any major damage.
The bass weighs 10lbs 3oz. The neck measures .820 to .990 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a modern oval C neck carve that is super comfortable and easy to navigate. This one plays great and has a punchy rock tone with a tight, round bass frequency and articulate top end. The controls include a master volume, pickup blend and a 3 band EQ. This one is a work of art and also performs like a pro!
