Product Description
ESP Jazz Bass
Most likely from the 80s or 90s back when ESP could use the Fender headstock shape. What appears to be a koa body with a maple neck and ebony fretboard, which features small abalone dot inlays. The headstock wears the vintage gold bordered ESP logo. It is a natural finish that is either oil or a wipe on satin poly.
The bass is in great shape over all with light wear and signs of handling throughout, mainly on the thinly finished body. There are a handful of nicks along the fore arm contour, a long just below the neck pick between the edge of the body and the low string, and some pickwear in the location where a thumb rest is sometimes installed. The treble side edge of the body has a fair amount of nicks and light scratches, particularly around the input jack. The back has a good amount of buckle rash, light scratches, and a few dings. The back edge of the headstock has one tiny nick and the maple nick has aged into a really pleasing tint. All in all none of the wear is unsightly and the thin finish has this instrument fast tracked on its way to being a naturally aged looking piece.

An increasingly rare example of a time when ESP was producing instruments with the now forbidden Fender headstock shape. Happy to answer any questions or provide additional pictures.
