Here we have an ESP J-RJB PYRO BABY bass guitar! This is a signature model for J from Luna Sea.
Specs include an alder body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, top-load adjustable saddle bridge, open gear tuners, and a mirror guard. The bass is a lefty meant to be strung and played right handed, so the controls are hidden under the plate and consist of trim pots for making normal adjustments, or adjusting the built in gain booster. It has a 34” scale length and 1.5” nut width. It’s loaded with a set of Duncan SJB pickups.
This one is in very good shape overall. There are some light signs of use on the guard and the metal parts shows some light patina. There are a few other topical marks on the instrument, but no real dents or damage.
It weighs 9lbs 1oz. The neck measures .810 to .890 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has an oval C neck profile with a satin finish. We love the red sparkle body finish and matching headstock. The bass plays quite comfortably “upside down” as a righty, though reaching the 21st fret is a little challenging. Such a cool model and pretty rare to see one here in the US.
Ships in the original padded gig bag and includes strap locks and other paperwork.
