Here we have a neat little Epiphone Olympic archtop guitar! This Masterbilt model is in very good condition overall.
Specs include a solid arched sitka spruce top, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, ebony bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and Kolb reissue tuners. It has a 14 5/8” lower bout, 1 11/16” nut width, and 25.5” scale length. It is also loaded with Shadow Electronics with a piezo bridge and side jack.
This one is in very good shape, though it does have a couple small top dings on the lower edge of the body. There are other light signs of play and handling when inspected closely, but it’s in excellent shape otherwise.
It weighs 4lbs 10oz. The neck measures .920 to 1.005 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has a full vintage carve with a subtle V at the apex. The guitar is loud and jaunty acoustically. It drives easily and is quite percussive too. A really cool reissue.
