Here we have a Limited Edition Epiphone Dot Super from 2006! This guitar is a Factory 2nd that is in good condition with some honest player wear and a couple of notable changes.
This model features a flame maple top veneer, as well as block inlays and Epiphone '57 Classic pickups. Other specs include a 24.75" scale length, 1 11/16" nut width, Grover tuners, a stop tailpiece and a Tune-o-matic bridge. It has a "2ND" stamp in the wood under the serial number sticker.
The guitar has an added side jack with a chrome Les Paul style plate. In place of the original top jack is a blower switch which when engaged activates the bridge pickup direct to the jack, bypassing the controls. The guitar has been well-played and shows pick marks on the guard, a number of light topical scratches, and a number of light dings on the surface. The frets show wear down low as well. There are no breaks.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz. The neck measures .870 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has a full profile with a D carve. It has good shoulders and an almost flat apex. The guitar is fun to play with a slinky feel and strings that growl when you dig in. We can see why it was played so much! It would make a great gigging guitar.
