Here we have an Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard! This 2021 model sports an Aged Dark Cherry Burst finish.
Features include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, laurel fingerboard, and carved maple top with flame maple veneer. It's loaded with a set of Burstbucker pickups and features '50s wiring including CTS pots and Mallory capacitors.
This guitar is in very good condition overall. It has a small ding on the back, and the surface of the instrument shows light signs of playing and handling. No major damage or issues however.
This one weighs 8lbs 1oz. The neck measures .930 to 1.040 at the 1st and 12th. It has a proper full neck profile for a '59 reissue that is more of a D shape with a nice shoulder. The guitar is loud, lively and vibrant. It growls when you dig in and has excellent clarity with a woody punch off the body. Overall this collab with the Custom Shop is a homerun!
