Just in from Dean Guitars in Tampa, Florida is this Dean V 79 Flame Maple in the timeless Trans Cherry Finish. This guitar is part of their Classic Series which is inspired by, and is a current homage, to their now iconic models from the late 70s and early 80s.

This V feature a mahogany body and neck with a bound flame maple top, in a gorgeous gloss finish. The bridge is a fully adjustable Tune-O-Matic with string through body design that includes string ferrules and a V plate. The nut width is 1 11/16" and a 24 3/4" scale length, with the distinct V neck shape and volute that Dean is known for. The Indian Rosewood fretboard is bound and inlaid with abalone dots, with a 12" radius and Jumbo frets. Grover tuners reside on the unmistakeable Dean headstock shape.

The guitar is loaded with DMT Time Capsule pickups. Handwound in Tampa, these pickups are the same set used in the USA Time Capsule guitars. A Volume/Volume/Tone configuration gives you fully control over the output, with gold speed knobs to complete the look.

The weight is 7lbs 11 oz and the neck measures .87" at the first fret to .92" at the twelfth fret
