Here we have a brand new Dean USA V 1977 Limited Edition in Trans Cherry Sunburst! This one is number 19 of 35.
Spec include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, and flame maple top. It has Grover barrel tuners, a Tune-o-matic bridge, and brass V string through body tailpiece. It's loaded with a set of DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers and is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. The neck has a distinct soft V profile with a volute, just like in 1977.
This one weighs 7lbs 2oz. The neck measures .870 to .970 at the 1st and 12th. It has a soft V shape that is comfortable with an apex that is consistent up the register. We're blown away at the tone and feel. The guitar is wonderfully built as well. The strings growl when you dig in, and the guitar has nice biting mid-range with excellent articulation and clarity. Truly fun to play!
