Here we have a brand new Dean USA Time Capsule Cadillac Custom! This guitar sports a metallic gold top with dark brown back and sides.
Specs include a mahogany top, mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony board. It has a 12" radius with a 1 11/16" nut width and a 24 5/8" scale length. The fretboard block inlays and headstock logo are aged MOP that really compliment the finish. It's loaded with a set of Dean DMT humbuckers including a Baker Act bridge pickup and Nostalgia neck pickup. This Goldtop has single ply cream binding around the top, neck and headstock to complete the look.
It weighs in right at 9lbs. The neck measures .680 to .790 at the 1st and 12th. It has a soft V profile without much shoulder. The guitar feels slinky and plays easily under the picking hand. It's lively off the body with a glassy top end and nice sustain. The fit and finish are excellent too.
