Here we have a brand new Dean USA Patents Pending ML in Trans Cherry Sunburst! This is a lacquer finish flame maple top reissue of the earliest Dean builds.
Spec include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony board. It has single ply cream binding around the top and neck. The guitar is loaded with dual DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers, it has a 3-way toggle switch, dual volume knobs, and a master tone. The throwback features include red side dots, rolled fingerboard edges, Grover barrel tuners, correct control cavity routes, and correct strap button location.
The guitar weighs in at 7lbs 11oz. The neck measures .800 to .930 at the 1st and 12th. It has a comfortable rounded C shape profile. The guitar is fantastic. It's wonderfully built and plays effortlessly. The string response under the picking hand is quite good. It has a brighter, clear, mid-range sound with nice warm color and articulation. Truly an excellent build.
