Here we have a brand new Dean USA ML Flame Top! This one features an oil finish.
Specs include a figured maple top, mahogany body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, dot inlays, Floyd Rose locking tremolo, Grover tuners, and gold speed knobs. It has a set of DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups, a 3-way toggle switch, and their classic Volume/Volume/Tone layout. The scale length is 24 5/8”, with a 1 11/16” nut width, 12” radius, and 22 jumbo nickel frets.
This one weighs 9lbs 10oz. The neck measures .840 to .930 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has the Time Capsule V neck profile which isn’t too pointed at the apex and fits into the hand nicely. We love the feel and open tone with the oil finish. Plus the guitar has a slinky feel with the scale length, making it easy to navigate and bend on.
