Here we have a brand new Dean USA Cadillac Custom 3-Pickup! This one sports a classic black finish and triple DiMarzio Super Distortion pickups!
Other specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, tune-o-matic bridge and Grover tuners. It has a 24 5/8” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, and a 12” radius. It also has a Series 2 headstock with 22 wide/flat frets and block inlays.
The guitar weighs 8lbs 10oz. The neck measures .850 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It has the classic Dean soft V neck profile that is quite comfortable. The guitar is slinky and resonant with nice honk and woodiness off of the body. It does not have a maple top, so it has a warmer, mellow mid-range, but still nice clarity. The frets are wider and a touch flat on top, similar to a 1980s LP Custom. We’re always truly impressed with the quality and sound of the USA Dean guitars and this one is no exception!
