Here is a very nice 2015 D'Angelico EXL-1 Excel in sunburst! This guitar is in excellent condition and includes an original hardshell case.
The Excel is an iconic mid-century Jazz guitar with a 17" wide body, cutaway, and floating neck pickup. This one features a laminate spruce top, along with laminate flame maple back & sides. The neck is 3 pieces with an ebony board. It has a 25.5" scale with a 1 11/16" nut.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 3oz. The neck measures .830 to .900 at the 1st and 9th. It is in excellent condition overall. It shows faint surface marks from handling and light pick marks on the guard, but does not really have any other dents or player wear. The guitar sounds good with a warm and round tone. The top drives easily and the acoustic quality translates nicely through the pickup. It plays easily up and down the neck too.
Ships in a D'Angelico hardshell case.
