Here we have a brand new Circle Strings More Paul electric guitar! This one features a carved cocobolo top.
Other specs include a hollow body, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and ebony head plate. It has a custom vine inlay with deluxe tuners, a brass nut, brass bridge, brass stopbar, and brass knobs. The scale length is 24.75”, the nut width is 1 11/16”, and it has a 12” radius with medium jumbo fret wire. The pickups are a set of Duncans, including SH-1 humbuckers with a reverse polarity neck.
The electronics also include a 3-way pickup selector switch and dual mini-toggle 3-way switches. One mini toggle controls coil split functions for both humbucker pickups where the forward position is inner coils only, the middle is full humbuckers, and the back position is outer coils only. The other mini toggle controls the single coil pickup where the forward position turns off the single coil, the middle position turns on the single with normal 3-position pickup selection/humbuckers included, and the back position is the single coil only bypassing the 3-position pickup switch and humbuckers entirely.
This one weighs 8lbs 3oz. The neck measures .830 to .920 at the 1st and 12th frets. The neck has a medium oval C neck carve without too much shoulder. It has excellent resonance from the hollow construction, and sustains for days. We love the control layout which offers a number of useful tones. The guitar plays quite nicely and the construction quality is off the charts.
