Here we have a very nice Carvin DC127 quilt top electric guitar! This build is in very good condition.

Specs include maple neck through construction, alder body wings, an ebony fretboard and of course a monster quilt maple top. It has a matching headstock veneer with Sperzel tuners. It's a string through body instrument with a 25" scale length, 12" radius and 1 11/16" nut width. It's loaded with a set of Lace humbucker.

The guitar is in great shape. The pickups and rings are changed, but the originals are included. The toggle switch has an added rhythm/treble ring and the strap buttons are Dunlop. There are a few minor dings on the back, as well as a few on the top behind the bridge. The finish at the fret ends is lifted subtly from the frets popping. There are other light topical marks and signs of playing, but overall it's a pretty clean instrument.

It weighs 6lbs 13oz. The neck measures .790 to .870 at the 1st and 12th. It has a modern slim C neck profile. The high register is easily accessible with the neck-thru design and the way it is sculpted into the body. The guitar has excellent clarity with a glassy top end. Notes are articulate with a band of warm mids and the guitar sustains quite well. Overall a wonderful build and a great looking instrument.

Ships in the original molded Carvin case which is missing a foot. Includes the original pickups and rings.
