Here we have a brand new Benson Redland Reverb combo amplifier! This 1x12” amp is a unique design aimed directly at the extended American palette of tones, with a tone stack that is inspired by sounds as varied as Dumble and Peavey. It still has the touch sensitivity and feel of a Benson, but with a cleaner core sound.

The bass and treble controls are where the rubber meets the road. Bass moves a massive mid scoop up and down the frequency spectrum, starting at 100HZ and ending around 1K. This essentially cuts bass at the lowest point, and ends up cutting into the treble at the highest point. It might seem strange, but it’s very versatile in tandem with the special treble control. With this set up you can pick the frequency points to feature and conversely what to cut.

This amplifier features 6V6 power tubes, 15 watts, and a 12” Weber custom ceramic speaker. It has a variable wattage selector, allowing you to dial it down to as low as 1/2w. Plus, it has a beautiful Reverb effect, just like you’d expect from Benson.
