Here we have a 2014 Benedetto Benny! This one features a neck only humbucker and a factory pickguard.
Features include a chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard. It has a carved select spruce top with single ply binding. It has a 25" scale, 12" radius, and 1 3/4" nut width.
The guitar left the factory with nickel hardware, and was later swapped out to black. It has a TonePros bridge and tailpiece, along with Schaller tuners. The pickup is a Benedetto A-6 with a black chrome cover. The guitar has been played quite extensively and has a number of paint chips around the back edge. There are numerous dings and small dents over its surface along with fine scratches. The frets show light divots under the B and high E strings down low, but the notes ring out true.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 4oz. The neck measures .850 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. The guitar is loud and resonant with wonderful sustain. It has excellent clarity, with single note articulation and warm overtones. The guitar is impeccably built and feels like a professional gigging model.
