The BPDI covers the full range of what a working bassist needs on stage or in the studio. Tone shaping starts with a 4-band EQ (Low, Low-Mid, High-Mid, High) for precise control of your sound, complemented by a Frequency Notch knob and Shape Switch for quick tonal adjustments. The switchable Acousti-Comp compression circuit is tailored specifically for bass, helping to even out dynamics without killing your attack. A dual-footswitch layout lets you bypass the preamp section and toggle the overdrive independently — and the overdrive can even be used as a standalone OD pedal when the preamp is bypassed, which is a nice touch.
The I/O is equally well thought out: XLR and 1/4" balanced outputs, a 1/4" thru output, an FX loop (footswitch-controllable), switchable Active/Passive input pad, ground lift, 1/8" headphone out, and aux in. Input Gain and Master Volume round out the controls. It's a genuinely complete solution for practice, live performance, and recording.
This unit is in excellent condition. It includes the original box, paperwork, and power adapter.
